If I remember correctly from mine, the net that goes on the back of the motorcover on the 98 is a simple piece of mesh sewn into a pouch. A string of Elastic String is woven into the top of the mesh and into a loop. The elastic is then stretched over the clips screwed into the motor box.
If you can't buy it from your CC dealer, I would think it would be really easy to make. BKH |

While not original, I used a cargo net back when I rode motorcycles. You may want to check someplace like Dennis Kirk to see if they still sell them. I'd imagine the size would be about the same. It was stretchable, more like a bungee net than a rope type net.

Have you had any luck finding the cargo net? I also need one for my '98 (I've been thinking about "borrowing" my wifes SUV's cargo net....with a couple of complimentary modifications of course....)
