100% Kevlar clutch plates are now available for the Borg Warner Transmission, They are claiming 10% higher coefficincy over graphite plates and 50% higher than the bronze plates. This means you can change the horsepower ratings on the transmission. they also have steel hubbed reverse plates available which i have used in the past for transmissions that keep snapping the reverse plates. for more info go to: www.tribco.com (if interested)

Always did MM, except did other things to the trannies, they claim with the kevlar they will take alot more heat, I have some borg warners out there that the owners have 800 hp in front of and they hold up, when you get up in that hp range you normally have to run what is called a crash box... its a mechanical transmission (all gears) the problem with this type of transmission is you have to turn the engine off and switch gears then re-start, they are strictly used for racing.

MM those are high performance clutches and in the future if you guy's go through your trans its a good idea to go with them, especially the steel hubbed reverse plates...they wont snap in half, along with those plates you can drill an orifice hole in the reverse piston so it doesnt come on as hard and snap the plates
