Aaron, this depends on the system that you are using now. If it is rotary it's as simple as remove and replaceing the existing helm a$$y.This is not hard,but if your's has the rack and pinion you will have to replace the cable also,which ain't a bad idea . If you do it now it will give you years of service w/no problems.......... boat dr
