I think a Volante is a 20 foot boat, though.

Thinking about low balling for purposes of the trailer. Mine has pretty significant rust right in front of the bunks -- likely from water draining slowly out of the carpet. I worry I will need some supports welded in or other intervention soon.

I would fix the trailer that is tailor made to the boat or try and find another. You are likely looking at mods to either trailer to make it work for the boat..,

Not sure the Volant trailer would be "drive-on" suitable for your boat w/out some trailer mods.
Agree with above.....fix yours.
