Late in the day yesterday, I found some old Gray Marine engines for sale up in Canada, does anyone have any idea on what would be involved in bringing them across the border. Near as I can tell from online searches, there is no Duty on Marine Engines. I would imagine there might be a tax that has to be paid, but is there anything else?

It was to late in the day to call CBP is only open from 9AM to 4PM Eastern. I did send an email, but there website says typical response time is 2 to 3 weeks - wow (Maybe a paper letter would be quicker...)!

Steve.....I've got a ex Girlfriend who is President of a US division of an Import/Export company out of England. I'll give her shout about this and find out what the scoop on any Duty taxes that might need to be paid on importing stuff from Canada. If anybody would know, she would as she does this kinda stuff all over the world. I'll give you a shout when I find out something.

Thanks Tim! This stuff is all more then 25 years old, so there should be no EPA requirements, just wondering if you drive up, pay the tax and be done with it. Hopefully it is that simple. Thanks again for taking a look.
