I had a problem when starting my '56 Essaness Craft motor. Duel Carter carbs. Thought I flooded it as gas dripped out of stern-side carb. It started but ran sluggish. I then noticed liquid running under the carbs and the intake manifold(?), which are connected together. My question is, I see there are a couple of "plugs" on the intake manifold when I look in the manual... Could one of those pop due to our cold temps lately and tons of moisture? So, what I saw was excess gas and water possibly? I haven't taken the unit off yet as had to get the last ski run in and winterize the Nautique, but I'm 'noodling' what happened as she has been running perfectly all summer.I will take apart this weekend hopefully.
Thanks for any help.
