I'll have my camera back tomorrow to post a picture... 78 ski nautique.
I got the new engine running great,i've removed seats and carpet to replaced the original carpet... One of the side steps (steps next to the engine bay) is broken, as well as the mounts that hold the steps in place. I've never liked walking to the back of the boat because you have to walk between the step and the floor. I WANT TO REMOVE THE STEPS so the floor is wider, and easier to walk around. Am i going to weaken the boat if i remove both side steps? Strings and floor look to be in Great shape. ---------- also what is the cheapest carpet that i want to run? (Im on a tight budget) 10oz 16oz or 20oz carpet? anybody have luck with ebay boat carpet? |
