I just picked up a new stereo to install in my boat. What do I need to do to keep it safe from moisture? I like that I can load MP3s on a DVD, or hook a MP3 player up to it.

I installed mine under the seat were the cooler is. I cut in from the front with 1/2 space on sides & back, used the cut off to make the top enclosure caulked the joints,
then ran the wires under the seat base.
I kept the boat in the boathouse when not in use.I could reach the stereo from the drivers seat, plus it was out of site.
