I have a '93 Sport Nautique with carb.
I took it out two weeks ago, for the first time this season and it ran perfect. I took it out again today and everything ran fine until I hit a huge wake real hard. The boat died. It started back up, but from then on it sputtered. If I would punch it the boat would die. Finally I was able to fineses it to get it open, but it would still sputter. It would also sputter at idle. Any ideas? Somethig like a float got jolted knocked loose in the carb? |

Did you get any water inside?
Double check all of your wiring connections too. Maybe something with your ignition worked itself loose? Check the wires near your coil for tightness. |
