Stupid question from a new guy: What is the difference in a Ski Nautique extended pylon (factory (?)) and a Sky High pylon? I'm looking for a pylon for skiing, not wakeboarding, so I can drive a boat-o (some people call it a wrap or an around-the-boat).

You probably don't need a full fly high for that. That goes quite a bit higher than the factory extended pylon. You can get those Factory style extended Pylons at N3 Boatworks, but they're pricey. I think someone said they had one made. Some suggested somewhere that this Mini Hylon would be a good option for Around the Boat, but no personal experience. Yup, mini hylon would be your best bet...or take the mirror off and do it with the shorty

I have a black extended pylon out of my 1990 Sport Natique that I am trying to sell or trade for a standard brushed aluminum ski pylon. I posted on March 22nd. Take a look and see if this is what your looking for.
