I am interested in buying a 1997-1999 Ski Nautique 176 or 1998-1999 Air Tique. I will consider a boat in any condition. I'd prefer the GT 40 engine option.
Thanks, Jim

Jim,
There is a 176 in the diaries still for sale in Florida. It needs work, but the price isn't bad..

Dave: I can't believe that boat is still for sale. Either it ain't right or that guy doesn't really wanna sell.

Well John, I actually offered him the price he is now listing it at, and he shot it down with some explatives, if you know what I mean...

He had a few buyers come with checks and as soon as they saw it was a 176 not a 196, they were out of there.. So as rare as they are, they also have a very discerning group following...

This boat needs major gel repair, all new carpet (holes the size of baseballs), and the interior wasn't all that hot either.. The hours are low, but.......

So he didn't like your offer but...that is where he is now. He don't wanna sell. For whatever reason.

If you go looking for a 196 how could you end up at this boat...just look at the picture...it is a 176.....duhhh.

Still a do-able boat.....176's are rare. Gotta look at it as a minor project boat and get it at the right price. You been in contact with the guy again?

Yeah, so goes the story of "all" the interest and blown deals as guys come down looking at it thinking it's a longer version..

Whatever, I lost total interest.. Once I get attitude from a seller, I run.Especially when it's clear the boat was abused.. I'm hunting for a good SNOB anyway....

We had three snobs on the lake last weekend...all at the same dock, I should have shot a picture. A 93 (I think) and two 95's.
