Never heard of a "4 blabe wake prop"! Must be something new from Wiley Coyote’s prop shop!
Hobby Boats can be expensive when the hobbyist is limited on their own skill and expertise.

That '88 is not an '88. My guess is '85, possibly '86.

Yup, 88 had the vinyl dash as well. Dead give away

That thing is huge! I can't imagine running that on a lake by remote, I'd be too worried about running someone over or crashing into something. Just to get it aired out you'd have to be a half mile away with the remote.

I have been looking at that one, love the fins and am not against the bigger non original engine. Just need a new job, so I can afford it and a workshop addition.

Of course I give the CCF guys a better deal here than on CL! Actually, the motor is the original for this boat. It is a 1960 and came stock with the Greymarine V8-188 (an AMC 327). The original side draft carbs leaked (surprise) and were swapped out with a standard manifold and 4bbl. I have the original carbs and manifolds that go with the boat. The doghouse would need to be rebuilt back to original or Pete would hunt you down and slap you.

Brian,
Why are you surpised? As mentioned before, it's just a problem that the PO "corrected" because he was yet another shade tree half a**ed mechanic!
