I am in need of storage space. Is it possible to build a box under the observer seat on an '84 and mount the seat on top? I could possibly use a hinge so that I can tilt the seat forward to get access to the storage space. Would it look hideous? Any other ideas?

I'm sure you could do it and make it look prettty good. I think the kley would be to match the original seat hieght, and match the carpet color.
A flip up or perhaps lift off arrangement would be the go. |
