I need this pump for final piece of '79 SN restoration. I know there are other options (Sherwood) as this does not seem like the stoutest pump, but want to keep the engine as original as possible. If anyone knows of this part for sale, please let me know. Thanks!

He is looking for the plastic body pump which is long gone. Plastic would get groves and tear up the impeller. Cant tell you how many I have tossed.

An exact replacement can be machined out of aluminum and anodized green or painted BUT they ain't cheap to replicate. I would use a Sherwood or a reproduced custom aluminum round body housing
Jabsco replacement housing. |

Keep it as original as YOU want it

Thanks! I have found 2 NOS Jabsco pumps, so I am set.
I realize this particular pump has its quality issues, but coming from my automotive restorations, I prefer originality. I understand product improvements are part of the evolution; however, in this case, I want the "story" to remain as original as possible. Once completed, this boat will probably be used 20 hours a year (if that!); so, I accept the compromise of the original part. Having said all of that, I do need a pulley for this pump - anyone have one laying around, please let me know! Thanks a bunch for everyone taking the time to respond. KK |
