use those vondy and have them solder and shrink wrap both ends and install the boot on it too, it's not that much more for doing it right the first time.

Besides the price being sky high, anything wrong with a crimpless ring?

I think soldered and shrink booted with the adhesive lined boot is best, but I may get corrected.

if your longest run is only 6 then you could get by with the 2 ga, but these ford starters want a lot of current and the larger the cable the better, Me personally I would be getting at least 1 ga cable for a 6' run.

What gauge should I be getting for replacement battery cables? I keep seeing different answers when I search here.

2 AWG, 1 AWG, 1/0 AWG ?

It's for a 69 Mustang 302 HM.

The longest run is 6 feet for the positive.

I was looking at ordering from...
http://shop.genuinedealz.com/

Thanks!
