What a waste of a '79...can't believe how much work some people do to butcher a boat:

'79 Ebay Abomination

$8600 for a hacked boat with a blown motor?? I'd like some of what he's smoking

Dont know why it was painted ,it is a counter rotating engine ,its an awfull paint job I was going to try wet sanding it off ,plus boat was kept in the water so it has bottom paint on it.

Ummmm...don't follow you Pete. I just happened to see this in a quick search for something else. I don't spend much time on Craigslist or in this CCFan.com thread. Well i didn't pull the trigger on the Wildcat..... If my shop was done and ready for a project i would have brought it home....Ron is a way cool guy....i may have talked him into keeping it and restoring it?? maybe the next one?...
