I'm looking to buy a (and correct for a '67 Mustang) starboard "Correct Craft" emblem as the one I'll be getting is missing a C. It must be original... no reproductions.
Thanks, Brice |

The last good pair I seen on e-bay went for around $300.

A machine shop may be able to make them for $300. The good one can be scaned and put into a Cad program and then the 3rd dimention (depth) can be added. It then can be machined on a machining center out of a corrosion resistent aluminum. Vibrotory finishing can polish them. Some one could make a batch and recoup costs by selling a few.
I know, here I go with the CAD thing again! However, I do know this method will work because I looked into it for making a mold for duplicating rubber (Sanoprene) step pads. |

Well... does anyone have a broken one that has a good "C"? Maybe I could put a "C" back on this one somehow.

Brice, If you find a good C, you had better think about epoxying to the hull. Those are zinc die castings and are not weldable.

Thanks for the tip. It's beginning to sound like finding one of these original emblems (and at a reasonable price) is not going to be easy.
Thanks, Brice |
