Looking at it again, the length and engine makes it look more like a Tahoe.

Looks like a boat from The Walking Dead. ..kinda scary.
Would the port drive narrow it down? |

And if the windshield cleaned up ok, it'd probably be worth it just for that

From the CL pics, it appears like there could be the Mustang "Horsie" to the left of the wheel. Or either a horsie shaped glob of dirt. Windshield looks like it's ruined. Engine looks like the 312 Interceptor.

I was thinking it looks more like a Gray FWF with a Paragon on it? |

Interesting Pete. I didn't even notice the paragon.
Valve covers and exhaust still look 312 to me. That Paragon puts it about almost a decade earlier than the boat. Changing my vote to: 283 Chris donor. |

I agree that it's to far gone, and I believe it is a Tahoe.

Didn't the American Skier and the Classic have the front bench seat?? The Tahoe on my old lake was a spitting imagine of my mustang with the exception of the console.

Looks like a Y block to me between the valve covers and the tilted dist. I'd give it a washing before I wrote it off. If the dash panel is original, that is a very early glass boat.

I looked through the brochures and I haven't seen a Tahoe with bench seat. But the Classic didn't have a bench seat and the steering wheel was on the right side. It could be a American Skier because they have the bench seats, and the steering wheel on the left. |

After further investigation, it's gotta be an American Skier. It's all matching up to other American Skiers. What else could it be?

I'd not write it off either. Would love to have one of these very early glass CC's to rework. Bet there is a treasure under the grime, just saying.

I found pictures of an early Tahoe that match this boat to a 'T'. It has a Y block Ford motor, and a Paragon gear.

I stand corrected, looks like an early 60's American Skier.
