I’m upgrading my 1996 Ski Nautique transmission from PCM 40a to 80a.

Ready to install new transmission.

Which bolts should be specifically torqued and to what spec?

Dampener plate to fly wheel
Bell housing to engine
Starter to bell housing
Transmission to bell housing
Transmission mount
Swivel lock on mount
Coupler

Here's an old thread in the link, with some info

http://www.correctcraftfan.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=49191&title=torque-specs-for-pcm-trans-and-vdrive" rel="nofollow - link  to some Chevy numbers

Otherwise you're looking at bolt sizes, pitch, hardness and torque charts to come up with numbers.............or just using your calibrated elbow and some common sense. Wink

Edit.........Oldskier disregard this, The info above is for a Chevy and in your 96 you most likely have a Ford.

More numbers to come for a Ford

Here's a new link to an old thread that has some Ford numbers
