Hi

Need help to find solution to the problem with high pressure pump.

HP EFF (PTI RA080022), which is almost new, makes very specific high pitch sound. All other components, which are located before it, like LPP and fuel filter, are  new.
I've made a test lately. Bypassed fuel filter and connected hose directly to the LPP. The sound is gone. As if HPP is starving for fuel but what is the cause have no idea.

If anyone had same problem please share your experience.

Thanks

Saw this on skidim-

Electric Fuel Pump PCM PTI RA080022

NOTE: Whining or Squalling indicates poor fuel delivery or defective pump.

I had a 91 Ford Mustang that had an extremely loud pump from new. I always expected it to fail but it worked for the 6 years I owned it. Other Fords in the family you could never hear
