| I am having my boat re-wired and want to replace the interior lighting...under the gunwales in particular. has anyone done this and if so could they share any pictures and insights on this? |

Not standard interior lighting, more like "mood" lighting, but if thats what you are after. I ran blue LEDs under my gunwales. Used the string type that comes on tape backing. There were fiberglass supports under the gunwales. It was a 76 ski tique vs your 73 mustang, so I am guessing pretty much the same structure. I took 1/2 inch pvc piping and put it in above the supports that held the piping in place. I stuck the LED strips to the PVC but didnt trust the sticky back to hold so I used a bunch of zip ties as well.
