Hi

Good to be back on with CCF; its been a long time for me. 

I think the gas shocks on my 2004 216 engine hatch are 17.2" (extended) and 40lbs each, but before I buy, I wanted to make sure. Anyone know for sure?

The gas lifting shock should have identification markings on it that will be the most useful.  Use your smart phone to snap a few close-up photos and then the magic of GOOGLE.
