Tim,
I understand you are getting some snow down there although it's not sticking. We'll send you some of these temps and you could end up with white all over! Big smile

This morning 6:30AM:

-24 on my gauge now but climbing.

Thanks for checking on me Pete. Snowmageddon 2021 hit hard yesterday. I was actually working on the dock in the blizzard. Oh the insanity of it all!!!

I've driven through Atlanta before on some of their "snow" events. With that amount of accumulation I can just imagine how many accidents there were LOL  Better start shoveling before it gets away from you Tim,or at least  get over to BJ's before all the snowblowers are sold out. Price you pay when you move North

I lived in Atlanta for 28 years and had a cabin on Lake Lanier for 7. Went through the “snow jam 82” it took me 6 hours to drive 18 miles! The south doesn’t have snow removal equipment. Fortunately the snow goes away pretty quickly. Just stay at home when it snows. I moved about 100 miles northeast and now live on Lake Keowee in SC. We got about 1-2 inches last night on grassy surfaces but no sticking on the roads. Not a problem, will be 54 this afternoon.

Need to see some pics of that new dock with 2 lifts in it. And two boats!

Will do on the future pics. Goal this weekend was to get Kermits lift epoxy painted (as it was pretty rusty) and get him on the lift but after thinking about it, I changed my mind. Gail is gonna need the boat when I have her make a custom cover for him so it didn't make sense to put him on the lift only to take him back off, on the trailer, and over to Nautiquehunters. I will post pictures when the boats are finally together again. She already made one for Miss Scarlett that included side skirts and cover for the platform. She does awesome work. So my efforts this weekend also included making a platform in the slip for the hydrohoist control box and get the lights on the dock.

Is it any surprise that this dock bears some resemblance to an airport runway?  Looks great Tim.  Nice set up.

Thanks boys! I'll never tell! Wink That would stealing but I am a member of the Appropriations Committee and have been since college. Those things last all night. On when I go to bed and still on when I get up and head to work. The neighbors like them too. Man those are cool! I may have started a trend.  I don't think I can ever retire from this major airline hub in ATL. There are too many fringe benefits like aluminum welders, steel welders, scrap metal bins, expired epoxy paint never opened that they're throwing out. Grease rag washing service. You know the little things.
