I recently purchased a 1990 Ski Nautique.  Looking for a support rod that hold the engine compartment open or another part that would work.

You can make one from a screen door turn buckle.  Take one of the rods off and use it.  You can get it from a hardware store.  That is what I did.

Have a pic by chance? Mine has noting there as well. 91 ski nautique. Thank you! You hy chance have a pic of your observer seat gas strut? Mine has nothing there as well an was curious how it mounts.
