Just curious, do the 90’s GT40’s have a limp home mode or an engine shut off if a serious fault is detected? Just curious if I’m protected at all if something happens on my newly rebuilt GT40.

Nothing but overheat and low oil pressure

Good to know. If there is a overheat or low pressure is it a limp home mode or is the engine shut off?

Limp home. RPM governed and only a couple of cylinders firing.

The GT40 uses the term SLOW mode.
