So I had a little rudder slop that resulted in the steering feeling a little tight when turning at slower speeds (15-20 mph)... it was only felt after a right hand turn coming back to center... I thought maybe it was the knuckle in tilt helm... but turned out to be rudder play (just a little)... I was surprised when I removed the packing to find 4 wraps!  I expected to find 3... eitherway... I added 4 new wraps and hand tightened best I could and still had a little play; I could see the gap between my tiller arm and the top of rudder port had play even with the washer... so I added a 5th wrap but had to use channel locks to tighten it a little more than hand tight but the results are amazing!  no drip... supper easy to turn and no slop.

My first thought is maybe there should be a 2nd washer/bushing or thicker one in there... anyone else need 5 wraps of packing in their rudder port?
