I am looking for a swim platform and brackets for a 70' or 80's Southwind 20. It takes four mounting brackets. The brackets are the key because I can make my own platform. Is there anybody that has brackets that I could use to duplicate? I hate the thought of using some cheap aftermarket brackets on my Southwind, so I am tring to find or duplicate the original. Any and all help appreciated!

Happy Boating!

Try these brackets, Barry. I like to take mine off when I back it in the garage. Click on the link below.

66,

I like those brackets, but they sure are proud of them. $100.00 each. Since mine takes four, I'll end up with a swim platform that will be 1/3 the cost of the entire vessel. I was trying to shoot for half that much.

But.....if I'm gonna sped money on something, I can't think of anything better than a Correct Craft!

Thanks for the link!

Still on the hunt if anybody has old brackets. I believe the Nautique brackets would work on my Southwind 20. Thanks!

Are you still looking for these brackets? I have an factory platform on my 84 Southwind that you can use for a pattern. Located in Spartanburg, SC.

Searider,

Wow.....that would be a Godsend if you would let me look at your boat here in Spartanburg in order to have some brackets made for my boat. Please give me a call so I can arrange a time to meet with you! Thanks!

Won’t be anywhere near what a SW needs.

I have a platform off of a Barefoot Nautique, possibly the brackets as well.  For the most part both have very similar transoms.

Scott, I think the platforms were larger on the SW- I know they were on the later 80’s Martinique?

I know someone in need on the bfn platform brackets… we have a few pairs of the martinique brackets that are too tall (otherwise would work).

Shoot me a pm

Hey Tim,
I think I found them after all.  I am 1 short but do have a 2001 bracket to throw in that could be modified.
