just rebuilt carb engine runs great just when i shut it off gas drips into the carb so i have to hold it wide open to get it to start. there is no way to adjust the float from the outside of the carb. is there another way to fix this issue?

Either the float is stuck or the needle/seat is buggered up... either way, youre pulling the bowl off.
