Hi All,

Where is the best source for a teak swim platform and mounting brackets for an early Mustang?

I was going to through bolt the brackets with a stainless metal plate on the inside. Is that common practice or do they lag into the stringers?

Thanks

I bought a platform for my '77 Martinique through CC about 10 years ago. I think CC has the patterns to fit your boat and a source to get them made.

I used "Marine Alloy" (I think I have that name correct) and through bolted with stainless bolts and very large washers (washers doubled up, no plates) and all has been well. I think a plate is a better idea than large washers, but back then I was a bit lazy and want to get it done.
