Does anyone know how many of these were made in 1979. And when i go to the reference at this site the 1979 literature makes no mention of this boat. If i ask topics that have been asked, well excuse me as i am new but i did search first.

emitchum,

If I'm wrong, I'm sure someone will correct me. However, I thought that the Barefoot
Nautiques were a new model in 1980. I just
took a peak at the 1980 literature, and it
seems to confirm so. Again, I could be wrong.

If I'm right, I suppose it's possible that you have a 1980 Model made in 79. Would
be kind of like owning a 1964.5 Ford Mustang.

and you may be right bk but my registration and title to cc trailer is 1979. when i looked at the 1980 literature it gives the barefoot as having a 30 gallon tank. i am sure my tank is 20 gallons. i would buy into the 64 1/2 mustang comparo. that is why we have forums, the answer will come forth

emitchum,
If you look at http://www.nautiques.com click on "Innovations" and then "History" on the bottom right of the screen a timeline will be displayed.

It lists 1979 as when the Barefoot Nautique was introduced. It is however not shown in my 1979 brochure.

Awhite - good catch. I knew someone
would prove me wrong.

Emitchum, as far as how many were made,
West Coast Correct Craft has been helpful
to me in answering these types of questions
in the past.
