Anyone know how much the 302 engine and tranny weigh? Might be a little more obscure, but anyone have a weight on an older 502 with a tranny?

The 302 as it sits with tranny, cast exhaust, and alum head is 600 - 650 pounds, the 502 would be 750 - 800 pounds.

Those weights are way off. A PCM 302 weighs in at 780 lbs, the 454 weighs 1095 lbs. I do not believe that would include the weight of the transmission. All things equal, I would expect the 502 to weigh a few pounds more than the 454, as it has a slightly taller block. All of this info is in the reference section of this site- you should check it out sometime.
