Hi there,

I am wondering if removing an 80's SN windscreen is going to be a drama? I am about to import one to Australia and frieght is in cubic metres.

Temporarliy removing the windscreen will save lots of $$$ on shipping as saves about 11 cbm.

So what's the procedure for this? is the winscreen rivetted or screwed down?

Thanks

Mark

it looks really easy and it is all flat glass so if it gets broken, no big deal

The glass is probably anchored in place with "T" bolts. Crawl under the dash and look for all the nuts and washers directly below the windshield. Remove the nuts and pull the windshield straight up. At least that is the way my '77 windsheild is attached. The windshield on my '93 is attached from the top with screws hidden behind a cover.

Thanks for that,

So by the sound of it, it's a relatively easy job that will save me over $1K.

oh well on to the next step then.
