I had posted a note a couple months ago about a boat show starting this year in Muscatine Iowa, by Dave Moritz....May 19th,2007. His website is growing weekly!Check it out...

http://www.muscatineboatshow.com/

I met Dave at a boat show in Quincy Il ,last Sept. He owns some neat old woodies himself and has been working hard to make this a great show. He wants to expand it next year into some sanctioned race events... There looks like there will be a wide variety of boats attending...woodies, cla$$ic gla$$, hydros, drag boats,etc....

Remember,All boats are welcome,....Ive already registered (its free!) Lets try to get some more Correct Crafts represented!

Paul,

You coward! .... those lakes have you spoiled! I can see why, but if you live in our area and want to boat..you dont have much choice but rivers...

Actually, Im talking to anyone with a Correct Craft! We need to see if we can get a few to make a showing!

Happy New Year to all of you Correct Craft Boaters. I just had to post a reply about the river. I have lived on the river for over 20 years and the river has really cleaned up in the past 10 years. My wife and I take our woodies out all the time and just wipe them down when we are done. 15 years ago I would have probably taken the boat after a day down to the car wash. Anyway, boat in or boat out we just want you to come and have a great time with all of the other boaters. If you have any questions feel free to reply and I will answer all questions. Hope to see you in May!
Dave
