Hello, I’m looking for help to find a starter for a 1965 Ford 260.
It’s n a CC Mustang. It has an actuator on the side the pushes in to engage the starter. Had this rebuilt once a couple of years ago for 260 bucks but didn’t last very long. Can’t seem to find the matching starter. Any help is appreciated. Ty

Being an old Interceptor engine, I'd figure you have the big old Ford positive engagement starter like in the first picture

It's most likely got 9 teeth and a nose cone depth of 2 3/8 inches like in the second picture, but if you could verify the depth and number of teeth that would be good to get one that fits and works Wink
