The PO had all the mounting hardware placed on top of the gunwale and bow edges. I hate it! Anyone have some pics of an alternate mounting locations?
My thoughts: forward strap clips to base or top corners of windshield frame, maybe? And the remaining hardware placed on the 'step'. This on a '96 SN. If anyone has done this, were you able to successfully re-use the existing Bimini by gently bending the radius's into place? All of the above would also require relocating the entire Bimini aft as the mounts for the forward poles are well ahead of the step. Thoughts? Thanks, Mark  |
