Is there a good book for reference that would work with my 2000 GT40?
I'm going to get my motor back as a long block but would like torque specs and other things that might help for bolting everything back on. I would hazard a guess that something meant for the mid 90s ford Truck/Bronco/ETC might work. I've collected a ton of reference materials from here and PN that have been helpful for wiring and other things but I need a motor manual. And unless I'm missing something I'm not after the diagnostic manual in the reference section here. Thanks! |

Looked at the 351/202 service manual but it's appears to be for older year models and not sure if that's correct. The GT40 manual has some torque specs for items involved with the fuel injection but not much else unless I'm completely brain dead today.. .Which is a distinct possibility.

Skidim has some nice manuals:
http://www.skidim.com/products.asp?dept=1034&val=0&pagenumber=1 They have the GT-40 Service Manual, 4204. But, it sounds like you are looking for a more general Ford Engine Manual. 4201. It's basically a printout of the manual, hole punched and put in a binder. But, mine is nicely done, and it's probably cheaper than what it would cost you in printer ink to print it at home. I don't have it with me, but as I remember, everything is in there. |
