    I agree with you Eric on the above statement. I don't care for Pete Rose either but the point is he was a role model for many kids growing up and watching him. His antics off the field have banned him from the HOF. At least you threw out Two great ballplayers and there are many more who are HOF's that are great role models and many who aren't. 

People admired (including myself) Mr.Shapiro because he was an inovater of the sport of wakeboarding. Many tricks that are thrown to this day he created and therefore he named. He was pure brute strength on the water and exciting to watch. Many wanted to be like him because of his No Fear mentality, autographed things for fans and not blow them off like other pro wakeboarders I've witnessed. That's what young riders see and want to emulate. It's too bad he got mixed up in the wrong crowd and ended up like this even if it was his family

	strong on the outside, but very weak on the inside, Ive been around that sht all my life and seen it knock a grown man on his knees, i dont weep for Whitney, the demon has been released, not preaching here, I lost three good friends to that sht and maybe it switched a button inside me, i never looked down on them cause i know what they were going through....i never wept for them because i was always prepared for the outcome... if he can pull himself away from this stuff (Shapiro)he will be a man I will look up to
