Finally got the engine out yesterday for it's trip to Carolina Machine Engines for a complete rebuild. After dropping the oil pan, there were signs of piston ring. Must be why my #8 Cylinder had no compression. Also, had a little water in the oil pan.....is this a big concern?
The timing chain was very loose on the left side but very tight on the right side, what does this mean? Maybe skipped perhaps? |
