Is anyone familiar with the ratio of air pressure (psi) applied to a pitot tube versus the mph reading on a speedometer? I read somehwere that there is a test that can be applied using air pressure but I cannot find the article.

I've read that somewhere too... BUT, even if you pressure-test your speedo, that doesn't necessarily mean it will be accurate. If your pitot pick-up is not 100% accurate, then you still won't have an accurate calibration. Instead, I would calibrate using a stopwatch between a measured distance (like a slalom course), or use GPS (the easiest solution - if you have access to one).
