Has anyone been successful at weighting an 80 or earlier nautique for wake surfing?

I tried a few times last year and could not get the volume needed for it. My problem may have been that I had all of my weight on the back and one side with no weight up front, but I'm not sure if it is even possible.

I have failed and am keen to as well.
Last time I tried with 2x500Lb in the back, 200Lb beside engine drivers side and 300lb in leads that we split between the front and on top of the 200 beside the donk. Failed miserably....
