will be installing a fiberglass platform on my 85 2001, are the existing brackets thru bolted or lag bolted to the transom? any installation tips would be appreciated

lake man..You'd probably had a quicker response to this ? if you posted it in the General Discussion or Boat Maint. sec of the web site........ I believe that most brackets are installed with lag bolts. Might want to put the bolts in with sealer to make them water tight. Seal up your brackets and bolt heads to for extra added protection.

sorry, new at this, thanks for the advice, will have 4 mounting brackets (old platform in poor condition) if anyone needs them
