Hey guys,

I need some help, Two questions.
1)I'm looking to convert my 312 intake from the two carter side draft carbs to regular 4-barrel intake and single carb. I'm not having much luck with the old carters and going to something i can actually work with and hopefully increase performance and relliability! Where can i find, and what do you suggest as far as intake and carb. combo for the 312 interceptor

2)Also I need to replace the drive shaft, Its bent, and also need to replace the prop. I'm using a 12RH15 needs replaced with an aftermarket maybe? Where is a good place to find drive shaft and what size prop should i use for this size boat and motor(63 classic 17 foot used mostly for skiing and tubing) Right now at 3500rpm's i'm running 35mph.I want to be able to pull more than one skiier at a time but dont want to give up speed, can i do this or am i asking to much?

The 12 X 15 is my favorite prop. I use three, 12 X 12, 12 X 13, and 12 X 15. With the 15 I top out at 52 mph. The poly won't take much over 5200 RPM. I acquired a new 14 X 17 austral prop, that was an experience. It took forever just to get to 35 MPH, but I probobly could of gone 70! I've noticed on mine the MPH's stay really close to the RPM's. Glenwood marine has some really cool nostalgic stuff, you can visit at glenwoodmarine.net. The K-500 Monel shafts are $7.00 per inch for 1" dia. and the stainless shafts start at $87.50 for the 48" X 1". Also there is a $25.00 machining charge on the Monel shafts.
