Wow, great price. Had I not just bought, I'd have seriously considered. Nice to see pricing coming back. I've not see that color combination before. Interesting...has the PP servo controller, but no display...

Its the rare and special 40th Anniversary 25th Anniversary model with the 25th Anniversary GT 40.  Kind of like my rare and special 35th anniversary 176.

Galvanized trailer, recent eng. component replacements…I mean, water jackets last a long time! I’d guess salt.

But all that anniversary talk is right out of the 2001 brochure from the CC marketing department Wink

Here's a link

Like 63 skier said, it sounds to me like a decently maintained boat at a decent uninflated price.

Interesting build.  For short money you could do a floating fishing trip, but the living space is tiny. The interior pictures don't really show where you sleep, is there a head?  I suppose for a solo trip it could provide easy weatherproof shelter but seems very limited.

I like it! .... But down here in the south you would have to measure the temperature of that diamond plate in the sun on the Kelvin scale.

The cantilever trailer would be an interesting pull for even the shortest trips. I dont think I would venture much past my very short driveway!  Yes that tread plate would get a bit warm in the sun.  I would love to try it for week on Havasu though!

What are you seeing with the trailer?  Isn't that the usual type of pontoon trailer?

Probably why they are selling it.  No AC and too hot for Havasu basically anytime of the year.  If the sun is out you wouldn't be able to use it.  I've seen a couple of similar style small enclosed houseboats for sale in Havasu recently.  I think people are moving there and bringing them from other parts of the country and quickly finding out it's really flipping hot there!

My experience with that type of trailer is has not been good.  Very unstable and with the extra height of that boat it would be multiplied.
They certainly have their place i.e. placing the boat for winter storage and such.  Most around here that actually trailer a pontoon have the type with bunks under each pontoon.  Personal preference of course and maybe the newer cantilever types are more stable.

A rough '87 SN for $3k. Listing said was running 10 years ago, but engine looks to have a missing manifold and random parts.   Can't tell if side is scratch or crack.

If that was near me I'd go look at it for the trailer.

Crashed is a good description - not going to buff that one out!
