Take a little advice from a MoPar shadetree mechanic, keep one in your glove box!

By the way, the balist resister was completely shattered into pieces. The ceramic was all of the top of the engine by the transmission. Quick, cheap and easy to replace. I'm back on the water!

The stalling problem on my 1986 Ski Nautique w/351 engine after one hour of use was due to a bad balist resister. I replaced the balist resister and coil and the stalling problem went away. It idles like a champ! The PCM engine manual is a good help for troubleshooting.
