Hi all.  I'm in the process of swapping my 94 ProBoss back to a carb/dizzy now that my Protec finally crapped the bed and started puking out epoxy from the coil pack module.  First, I just wanted to say thanks to all the members that have done the swap previously and documented the steps (I've been lurking this forum for years, and finally joined), as it's been invaluable for parts ordering and making sure I get everything.  I'm going with the Quick Fuel M600 and DUI dizzy and hopefully will have the swap wrapped up tonight (rain dependent) and work on carb tuning and setting timing.

With all that, I'm curious if anyone has interest in any of the take-offs to keep a system alive or to tinker with.  I probably wouldn't want anything beyond cost of shipping or a little beer money (I'm in MN).  Below is what has/will be pulled off:

  • Throttle body/injector module with IAC, TPS, fuel pressure regulator, etc.  (All injectors were working when removed, but I'm sure would benefit from a cleaning).
  • MAP and atmospheric pressure sensors (with mounting bracket)
  • Trigger unit (gear looks fine)
  • EMS (epoxy potting looks fine in this one)
  • Coil pack module (epoxy was leaking from this one).
  • Coil packs (One coil pack had one spade connecter break off when I was disconnecting wiring), they otherwise seem ok (no swelling)
  • Protec wire harness (from EMS to sensors (oil/water switch, knock sensor, pressure sensors, TPS, IAC), injectors, fuel pumps, and 15-amp breaker)
  • Low and high pressure fuel pumps, brackets and hard lines (both fuel pumps were new in the last 2 years)
  • I don't plan to pull the knock sensor, but I know these are NLA, so if someone needs one, let me know.
If you want some or all, let me know as I won't have any need for it (and getting rid of a lot of it has certainly decluttered the engine a bit).  I can snap pictures of anything and send them along as well.

Tom
