I am restoring 1986 boat. I think it is an engine alarm/sensor. it is directly to the right of horn button. Any idea where to purchase? I could not upload any pics.
thanks Drew

Like you thought it's the "systems alarm"
I think that's a 1 inch hole in the dash that the horn fits into. The horn is fed by the alarm module under the dash. The module isn't exactly known for being reliable so if the horn doesn't work, you could test the horn with 12 volts to one terminal, other terminal to ground. If you search the site for "alarm module" you'll get info on the module Here's a link to an alarm that fits a 1 inch hole. Not original but might fit and work as long as the under dash module is working.................and the volume is adjustable |
