Not exactly being able to figure out what you want, do you have a Prestolite alternator that has an external regulator that's on the back of the engine? That was original on an 81.
Are there 4 wires that hook up to the alternator? orange, green, brown and black? If so, it gets wired like this  If it's something different,..............more info needed  |

I have a Mustang 1981 the wire diagram I've seen I have one it's a different color in clockwise order how to wire it up
