Hi everyone, I've been following the forum for a few years and this is my first post. I drive a Ski Nautique 2001 with a Ford PCM 351w that I have completely restored. Now to my question: for what is this oval hole on the intake manifold? Do I have to close it with my gasket? I have a spacer between the intake manifold and the carburetor. is the same gasket above and below the spacer?

I believe that you are referring to the Exhaust Crossover. Those can be blocked off. Some intake manifold gasket kits will include a block off option.
