New garage... driveway slopes down to the entrance, so the prop guard was hitting the garage floor. Super common problem apparently. Actually figured out I could remove the guard and the propeller and rudder had plenty of room, but figured that was a bad idea. Found a mobile welder to come and weld on these brackets, so that I can bolt up these 2000 lbs capacity (each) nylon casters from mcmaster. Hope she holds! |

I used these weld-on wheels/rollers. Worked great.

Nice! I debated between Steel rollers and poly wheels. Ultimately decided on the poly (but the ended up with vinyl instead) as I read some reports of steel digging into / damaging the concrete. Figured that was probably overstated. |

Here's the final installation... works like a charm! Backed the trailer right up into the garage, the rollers did their thing and it glided right in until the trailer wheels found solid footing again. Very glad I went this way instead of messing around with various ramps etc. |
