I recently started a thread called "now what" in boat maintenance.
I am tackling a stringer job and I know nothing about boats, construction or mechanics but figure I can learn. As I was tearing wet foam out I just kept thinking about getting some great pics up on CORRECT CRAFT FAN and starting my very own rebuild thread..Doing man stuff, chatting it up with the old salts on the site-you know fitting in...Then the Grand Poobah's gave me a smack (I earned It) and sent me crashing back into the newbie realm. In one of my pics there is a very small. very slight non finished stud wall and apparently my fairly clean shop floor which kicked off some comments about shop floors etc... This got me thinking, there are some really great boat guys on here, I bet there are some really great shops. would love to see some pics if y'all want to throw them up-could lead to a nice thread... Respectfully submitted- Groupie. |

So you're a little thin skinned if you think you've been smacked in that thread. Myself I thought the best smack was the picture you posted of Pete and Gun Driver. I know it wasn't me in the picture 'cause those guys are too good looking  Keep up the good work I don't think you'll be a "groupie" too much longer
